Family-owned and operated on the Saanich Peninsula for more than 25 years, Pronautic is a full-service cabinetry shop specializing in top end and fully custom residential, yacht, and industrial marine interiors.
Our team of 20 cabinetmakers, finishers, and installers, and managers have over 300 years of combined experience in cabinetmaking, joinery, and yacht work. It’s safe to say that we can find a solution to nearly any challenge!
We’re proud supporters of the ITA Red Seal Cabinetmaker program. We believe that there’s always more to learn, so we’re committed to supplying our employees with the opportunities that they need to grow. We have five Red Seal Journeyman Cabinetmakers on our team, as well as 5 apprentices. We’re always looking for the right people to join our team!

Our 18000 square foot shop facility is where your designs and drawings come to life. Our shop is outfitted with everything that we need to produce high quality cabinetry with precision and achieve an incredible finished product.
In the shop, we have a Biesse Rover-G CNC Machine (fed by our drafting department), an SCM edge bander, specialized machinery for joinery, and vented spray booths in our finishing department.
All these items are used by our team of highly skilled craftspeople to turn raw wood, sheets of plywood, and other quality materials into beautiful, functional cabinetry.
Our drafting department uses Solidworks (3D CAD software) to create models of the cabinetry required for each project. Especially with our naval projects, this allows us to ensure that everything fits perfectly inside the internal parameters of the vessel. We’re able to bring our background in naval interiors to our residential projects to maximise the utility of each cabinet.
Once a project is ready for production, our drafting department uses a nesting software to optimize all the parts for cutting on the CNC machine.
